摘  要:为克服电容式电压互感器(capacitor voltage transformer,CVT)暂态传变特性差对行波极性比较式方向元件可靠性和灵敏性的影响,提出一种工频电流量极性比较式方向元件。该元件利用故障前电流和故障分量电流之间的极性关系来确定故障方向。由于所提方向判据与故障电压量无关,因此从原理上避免了CVT暂态传变特性对方向元件可靠性和灵敏性的影响。基于PSCAD/EMTDC的仿真结果表明,该元件能够快速可靠地确定故障方向,其性能不受故障初始角、过渡电阻、噪声和负荷状态的影响。In order to eliminate the effect of poor transient response of capacitor voltage transformer (CVT) on reliability and sensitivity of polarity comparison based traveling wave directional element, a novel directional element was proposed based on current polarity comparison. The proposed directional element utilized the relationship between the pre-fault current and superimposed current to identify the fault direction. Since the proposed direction criterion has nothing to do with transient voltage components, the element is immune to the transient response of CVT. The simulation results based on PSCAD/ EMTDC indicate that the proposed directional element is able to determine the fault direction rapidly and reliably and its performance is insensitive to fault inception angles, fault resistances, noise and load conditions.
