First Firing Test of Electric Propulsion for a Whole Satellite in Vacuum Environment

摘  要:Recently,the firing test for electric propulsion for a whole communications satellite in vacuum environment was completed smoothly.The test validated the in-orbit operation capability of the electric propulsion system and other subsystems of the DFH-3B platform and further confirmed theRecently, the firing test for electric propulsion for a whole communications satellite in vacuum environ- ment was completed smoothly. The test validated the in-orbit operation capability of the electric pro- pulsion system and other subsystems of the DFH-3B platform and further confirmed the compatibility of all subsystems onboard a simulation satellite in an actual in-orbit operation state. The test demonstrated that electric propulsion technology could be used in China's communications satellite.
