摘　　要：1957—1961年设置的"社会主义教育"课程是新中国高校马克思主义理论教育教学进程的一段插曲。透视"社会主义教育"课开设的历史过程,不难发现,要吸取的教训远多于可借鉴的经验。本文在系统阐述"社会主义教育"课程开设背景和经过的基础上,分析了"社会主义教育"课程教学的特点,揭示了"社会主义教育"课程设置的得失。Ideological Education of Socialism of 1957 to 1961 was the episode in the process of Marxism theory edu-cation in universities.By studying the historical process of establishing the course of Ideological Education of So-cialism,we gained a lesson more than experience which we can make use for reference.This paper introduces the background and developing process of Ideological Education of Socialism, analyzes the teaching characteristics of I-deological Education of Socialism, and finally explains the gain and loss of setting Ideological Education of Social-ism.
