摘 要:铁是人体内重要的微量元素,是血红蛋白、肌红蛋白及细胞色素类等各种酶的重要组成部分,在红细胞生成、细胞氧代谢、DNA合成中发挥着重要作用,铁在体内的含量通过多种调节机制维持稳定。然而,一些病理状态下,尤其是各种血液系统疾病患者体内往往存在铁过载,过量的铁在组织中沉积并通过Fenton和Haber-Weiss反应产生自由氧,通过氧化应激反应破坏细胞膜、蛋白和DNA,对多种重要脏器产生毒性作用。端粒为线性染色体末端的串联重复序列,在维持染色体的完整性方面起着关键的作用;端粒随着细胞分裂不断缩短,是生物细胞年龄的标志物,也是累积的氧化应激损伤的标志物。本文就铁过载与端粒长度的关系作一综述。Iron is an important trace element of human body for it is the component of hemoglobin, myoglobin, cytochromes and various enzymes, playing an important role in the formation of red blood cells, cellular oxygen metabolism and DNA synthesis, the iron homeostasis is regulation by variety of mechanisms. However, under certain pathological conditions, especially various kinds of hematological system diseases, patients often accompany by iron overload, excessive iron deposit in tissues and produce free oxygen by Fenton and Haber-Weiss reaction, destruct membrane, proteins and DNA through the oxidative stress response, have toxic effects on a variety of important organs.Telomere is the tandem repeats at the ends of linear chromosomes, plays a key role in maintaining chromosome integrity, telomere shortened at each cell mitosis, is the marker of biological aging and cumulative oxidative stress damage.This article aims to discuss the relationship between iron overload and telomere length.
