摘　　要：城市化发展的空间格局及其演化规律,对于剖析城市化发展的内在机理,构建协调发展的区域空间格局有非常重要的意义。文中运用ESDA方法和传统统计分析法,对1991-2011年内蒙古城市化空间格局及其演化进行分析。结果表明:蒙东地区与蒙中和蒙西地区城市化水平差距逐渐拉大;各区域内部相对差距逐渐缩小;处于中等城市化水平的区域逐渐增多。为促区域城市协调发展,应加大对东部地区政策倾斜,同时东部地区应该抓住"振兴东北老工业基地"的契机,进行产业结构调整,融入大东北经济区。Spatial pattern and evolution of urbanization is important to reveal the mechanism of urbanization and build regional coordinated development pattern. With the dates of 1991- 2011 and the methods of ESDA and statistic analysis,spatial pattern and evolution of urbanization in Inner Mongolia were analyzed. The following conclusions were found： the level of urbanization in Inner Mongolia was successively decreasing from west to east. Relative gap within regions was narrowing. Areas at medium level of urbanization were gradually increasing. In order to promote the coordinated development of urban regions,the government should increase policy support,while the eastern region should seize the chance of ＂ revitalizing the northeast old industrial base,＂ and carry out industrial restructuring,to integrate into the Northeast Economic Zone.
