摘 要:公众客户网关虚拟化技术的发展是终端领域虚拟化演进的典型案例,其主要思路是将运营商部署的公众客户网关中的三层功能以及业务处理功能等上移到网络中(包括接入网或城域网),通过位于网络中的虚拟化网关平台功能实现原来每个物理实体网关中具备的三层和更高层功能,而将客户实际的网关设备简化为二层功能为主的桥接设备,对于海量公众客户网关设备,可以有效降低其故障率,减少上门服务概率,便于宽带接入网的运行维护。The virtualized customer premise equipment technology is a typical case of the terminal virtualization. The main idea is to make the third layer function in deployed gateway of operators up to the network(including access network or metro network). The virtualized residential gateway function in network can realize the third or higher layer function in original physical residential gateway. At the same time, the residential gateway can be simplified to a bridge device with two layers function. The virtualized customer premise equipment can effectively reduce the fault rate, reduce the probability of indoor service and enhance the convenience for broadband access network with the huge residential gateway equipments.
