摘 要:周韶华先生是一位既有创作实践又有理论建树的艺术家。他意识到对中国绘画创新,并非仅仅把西方写实手法引入中国绘画,而是应走出一条属于自己的改革之路。同时提出了"横向移植"、"隔代遗传"的观点,打破了元明清以来的文人画传统,把吸收营养的触角伸向仰韶、春秋殷周、秦楚汉唐,直至宋代和晋魏六朝的艺术。同时,在绘画的本体语言上,从色彩、构图、技术三个方面把西方现代精神和传统文化的精华结合起来。他既是传统的大胆反叛者,也是传统忠实的继承者。Mr. Zhou Shaohua is both a theorist and an artist. He realized the problem of traditional Chinese painting, but he didnot like their predecessors who only concentrated on the introduction of western painting. Zhou Shaohua found out his ownway of reforming Chinese painting. He also proposed "transplanting" , "atavistic" , broke out the literati painting traditionin Yuan, Ming and Qing, and learned from Yang Shao, Yin Zhou, Qin Chu Han and Tang dynasties, to Song dynasty and Jindynasty. Meanwhile, he combined the essence of modem western spirit and traditional Chinese culture from color, compositionand technology. He is both the bold rebel and loyal successor of Chinese traditional culture.
