摘　　要：虚拟化在高校信息化建设中占据了越来越重要的地位.虚拟机已经可以在大多数应用中取代传统的物理服务器,极大地节省了成本,同时实现了简化管理、维护方便.VMware在高校虚拟机应用中占据多数,随着虚拟机数量的增加,传统的备份服务器加客户端的方式已经不能满足虚拟机备份的需求.本文主要介绍了基于VMware虚拟机整机备份系统的一种最简便的实现方式.并结合在北京大学的使用说明VDP是一套完整、高效的虚拟机备份解决方案.Virtualization occupies an increasingly important position in information construction of colleges and universities.Virtual machines can already replace traditional physical servers in most applications,also can get great cost savings,while achieving a simplified management,easy maintenance.VMware virtual machines occupy the majority of the college application,along with the increase in the number of virtual machines,the traditional a backup server plus clients approach can not meet the needs of virtual machine backups,this paper introduces the easiest way of VMware virtual machines backup system.Combined with the use of VDP at Peking University,this is a comprehensive,efficient virtual machine backup solution.
