摘　　要：波特兰大学在全美排名靠前,虽然物理专业并非其强势专业,但该校的核心教育理念在这里得到很好的体现。通过与波特兰大学物理系主任的对话,文章从教学理念、教学方法、教学评价等方面归纳了中美基础物理以及实验教学之间的异同,希望对国内的基础物理教学起到一定的启示作用。University of Portland rank in the top of all-America.Although the physics is not the strong major,the core education concept is shown well.Through chatting with the chairman of physics department in University of Portland,the paper summarizes the similarities and differences of general physics and experimental teaching between China and United States from teaching philosophy,teaching methods and teaching evaluation,etc.We hope it will play an enlightening role in domestic general physics teaching.
