摘　　要：文章以史部地理类为例,考察了《四库全书总目》子目设置的几种常见类型及其分类源流,指出《总目》三级类目的设置与完善受到了《通志·艺文略》和《国史经籍志》等历代官私目录以及四库馆臣的学术认知与编纂理念等多重因素的影响。同时通过具体图书归类的案例客观探讨了《总目》细目分类的缺失,主要表现为缺收漏收与归类不当。Taking the geography class of history category as an example, the article reviews several common types of branch catalogue settings and its origin of classification in the General Catalogue for Complete Collection Four Treasuries. Meanwhile, it also discusses some defects of classification ob jectively through specific cases on books classification, mainly manifested as the lack of description and improper classification.
