摘　　要：政治参与是民主政治的组成部分,提高民众的政治参与水平是推动民主政治发展的重要途径。改革开放以来,中国将发展基层民主作为推动民主政治建设的重要举措,广大农民的政治参与获得了前所未有的发展。农民的政治参与呈现出制度化和非制度化并存的特征。在农民政治参与的政治活动中,经济的发展、社会的变迁和政治体系的结构等因素都对于农民的政治参与产生了重要的影响,展现了这些因素与农民政治参与之间的复杂性关系。农民的政治参与对推动国家的民主政治发展,改善农村的基层治理水平具有推动作用。Political participation is a part of democracy,and it＇s a great way to promote the development of democracy by improving the level of people＇s political participation. Since its reform and opening up,China has made the development of grass-roots democracy an important way to put forward the construction of democracy. In this way,the political participation of general farmers has made unprecedented progress. And it is evident both in institutionalization and non-institutionalization. While the farmers participate in the political activities,the development of economy,the change in society as well as the construction of political system all have great impact on their performance and have complex relationship with their participation in politics. Farmers＇ political participation has an effect on promoting the country＇s development of democratic policy and improving grass-roots governance in the rural areas.
