摘　　要：后殖民理论是东西方反殖反帝的政治文化运动的产物。其根本主张是反对一切文化帝国主义和文化霸权主义,为边缘文化的发声提供支持。后殖民理论对中国文化发展带来深刻的启迪和思考。在当代中国文化转型的过程中,需要重新确立中国文化的民族认同与合法身份,中国文化只有通过创造性转型和批判性重建才能在新世纪焕发出光彩。我们既要积极地对中国传统文化进行现代阐释,又要与西方的先进文化展开对话和交流。这样,才有可能产生新世纪的中国文化新形态。Postcolonial theory is the outcome of political and cultural movement of anti - colonialism and anti - imperialism in the East and West. The essence of the theory is opposing cultural imperialism and hegemonism and offering support for the development of marginal culture. Postcolonial theory brings deep enlightenment and reflection on the development of Chinese culture. In the process of the transformation of contemporary Chinese culture, it is necessary to re - establish the national identity of Chinese culture and to go through creative transformation and critical reconstruction. This requires that we should actively be engaged in the modern interpretation of Chinese traditional culture and exchange with advanced western cultures. Only in this way can Chi- nese culture present its new form.
