摘　　要：日本是一个岛国,虽然具有得天独厚的海洋地缘优势,但是始终抱有"坐海望陆"的情结,其扩张野心由来已久。在漫长的历史中,日本强烈的民族情绪和扩张精神与其日渐强大的国力交织在一起,屡次对外侵略,但最终侵略成果都在"二战"后付之东流。从1954年建立海上自卫队到最近的解禁集体自卫权,日本海上实力不断扩展,影响的范围也随之扩大,在美国的纵容下,扩张的野心正在逐步复苏。作为和日本隔海相望的大国,中国再次成为其海权扩张的障碍和目标。日本海权扩张的历史和一以贯之的野心必将引起中国及世界上所有爱好和平国家的警惕。Although it has an extraordinary geopolitical advantage as an island country, Japan still has an emotion of ＂looking at the continent while sitting at the sea＂ which reveals its ambition of expansion. Historically, Japan＇s strong nationalist zeal and spirit of expansion, intertwined with its growing power, aggressed into its neighboring states repeatedly. However, every single fruit of expansion is gone with the World War II. From the birth of the Japan Maritime Self - Defense Force in 1954 to the recent lift of the ban on collective self - defense, Japan＇s sea power is growing rapidly, and the space under its influence is also expanding. Under U.S. mollycoddle, Japan＇s ambition is rising, again. As Japan＇s neighboring continental power, China once again becomes the obstacle and therefore the target of its expansion. Japan＇s history and ambition should trigger alerts of China and all other peace -loving countries.
