移动智能设备个人信息管理——以在校大学生和研究生为例

摘　　要：随着移动互联网的迅速发展,移动智能设备越来越多地进入人们的信息活动,特别是个人信息管理(PIM)活动中来。采用问卷调查和焦点小组访谈方法对大学生使用智能手机的个人信息管理行为进行调查,通过描述性统计和开放编码对数据进行定量和定性的分析。研究发现,大学生使用智能手机非常频繁,在移动智能设备上存储和管理的个人信息类型多样,个人信息组织、发现、维护的方式与传统桌面设备存在显著差异,但目前技术尚未提供一种通用有效的信息组织和查找机制。Mobile devices have increasingly facilitated people ＇s everyday information activities,especially personal information management（ PIM）. This research studies college students＇ PIM behavior via a mixed approach of questionnaires and focus group interview s. Results show that college undergraduate and graduate students use smart devices very frequently for various purposes,and store and manage all kinds of information on smart devices. the organization,finding（ and re-finding）,and maintenance of information on mobile devices diverge from desktop PCs and laptop significantly. However,current technologies do not seem to provide tools and mechanisms effective enough for mobile PIM.
