摘　　要：从《吕氏春秋》《楚辞章句》到明清以来历代官修《嵩县志》,对伊尹出生的传说均有记载,但多只述遗址,不叙梗概,传说中的许多问题并不能得以明确。征之嵩县民间传说,当地许多地名都很巧妙地嵌入故事当中。将传世文献与民间传说互相结合可以发现,伊尹极有可能是野合而生。The event of the birth of YI Yin was recorded in Lu Shi Chun Qiu and Chu Ci Zhang Ju and Song Coun- ty Chronicles in the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynast. However, there were only some registered ruins with no de- tails. So, a lot of problems about the legend of.the birth of YI Yin could not be clarified. Now, in accordance of the folklores prevailing in Songxian County, many names of localities coincide uniquely with the legendary names in the tales. In combination of the historical documents and the folklores, it could be stated that the YI Yin was born out of his mother＇s illicit sexual relation.
