摘　　要：大学综合排名是当前评估高等学校教育质量的一种重要形式,也是显示高等学校办学实力的重要途径。通过对佛山科学技术学院2002~2013年间网大公司综合排名及其在广东省内同类院校的排名分析发现,学校发展呈现积极态势,学生质量稳中有升,师资队伍结构良好;同时也存在学术声誉长期空白,学术资源明显劣势,学术成果水平不高,物质资源优势渐失等问题。提升佛山科学技术学院的办学实力,需要学校树立战略发展意识,争取重大项目的政策倾斜,发展具有地方特色的优势学科专业,加大地方政府的政策支持力度。University rankings is not only an important form to evaluate the higher education quality, but also the important way to show the university running ability. Based on the Netbig comprehensive ranking from 2002 to 2013, Foshan university shows active development trend, the student quality and teaching staff structure are both good. Hoever, at the same time, the academic reputation is blank for a long time, the academic resources is obvious disadvantage, the academic achievements level is not high, and material resources advantage is losing gradually. To increase the university strength, Foshan university needs to set up the plans of strategic development, to strive for policy support of major projects, to develop the advantages disciplines with local characteristics, and to reinforce the policy support from the local government.
