摘　　要：文化是美国综合国力的重要组成部分,文化因素和政治、经济、军事等因素一样,始终是美国外交决策的基本驱动力量。某种程度上,美国文化中的使命观和"西方中心论"使得美国对朝鲜的外交政策带有极其明显的东方主义特质,即在"西优东劣"、"二元论"的思维方式下,借助于一种"苦心经营"的权力话语,延伸了对朝鲜的霸权触角,利用朝鲜这位"他者"来实现自己的单边主义利益和需要。美国对朝政策中所表现出来的东方主义文化,引起了朝鲜当局的强烈反弹,对东北亚局势产生了严重的影响,同时也值得引起东北亚地区各有关国家的重大关切和国际关系理论研究工作者的深刻思考。Culture is an important part of the comprehensive national strength of America. Cultural element,as well aspolitical,economic and military element,has remained the basic driving force of in making American foreign policies. Thesense of mission in American culture,to some extent,together with＂west- centrism＂,make American foreign policytowards North Korea featured by Orientalism,namely,influenced by＂west superiority to east＂and＂dualism＂and adopt＂elaborately staged＂power discourse,America extends his Hegemony tentacles towards North Korea and takes advantageof North Korea,the＂other＂,to realize his unilateral interests and needs. The Orientalism displayed in the US policytoward North Korea causes a strong rebound of the North Korea,which has a serious impact on the situation in northeastAsia,meanwhile,it is also worth the major concerns of each relevant countries in northeast Asia and profound thinking byresearchers of the international relations theory.
