摘　　要：马克思和恩格斯的过渡时期理论是马克思主义的重要组成部分,具体是指从资本主义到共产主义第一阶段的革命转变时期。新中国成立以后,以过渡时期理论为指导,完成了从新民主主义向社会主义的过渡。中国的过渡时期,一方面是以马克思和恩格斯过渡时期理论为指导,另一方面也是对过渡时期理论的充实和发展。这一理论的重要价值在于其给中国社会主义的发展阶段以科学定位,成为中国共产党在一个相当长时期内处理一切问题的基本出发点。Theory on the transition period is the most important theory of Marxism. It means the period from Capitalism to the first part of Communism. This theory has been followed in China ever since the founding of the People＇s Republic of China. Guided by Marx＇s theory on the transition period, the transition theory in China in return enriched and developed this theory. The important value of the theory lies in the following： it gives a scientific orientation for the development of China, and it is the basic point of departure for the Communist Party of China to handle all problems in a long period.
