摘　　要：社会建设在不同的历史时期有不同的内涵、本质、价值取向和具体体现。社会建设是中国特色社会主义的应有之义,也是当代中国发展实践的重大课题。坚持"以人为本"始终是我国社会建设的基本理念,它贯穿于中国共产党领导我国社会建设的全过程,不仅体现了中国共产党立党为公、执政为民的本质要求,而且还深刻反映了中国社会建设的根本价值取向。当前,我国进入了全面深化改革时期,加强社会建设,必须坚持党的领导为基础,维护社会稳定为保障,以共同富裕为原则,三者有机统一于中国特色社会主义社会建设实践。The social construction embodies different essences, connotations, and value orientations in different historical periods. Contemporary Chinese society is summed up in the practice of socialism with Chinese character- istics in the process, in line with China~ national development practice. Adhering to the ＂people -oriented＂ con- cept is always the basic idea of our social construction, and the whole process of it, throughout the Communist Party of China~ social construction, not only embodies the essence of the Chinese Communist Party for the public and its governance for people＇s requirements, but also reflects the fundamental value orientation of China＇s social construc- tion. Deepening the reform period in the round must continue to improve the livelihood of the people - oriented con- cept.
