摘　　要：大卫·休谟的政治思想是对英国资产阶级革命后社会政治的观察与反思的结果,强调民选的政治领袖并不一定优于世袭君主,社会变革应该在尊重传统与习俗的基础上,追求渐进变革,党派之间应该保持协调,对政府的服从和反抗上要兼顾权威和自由。休谟多元融合政治思想的影响是广泛而深刻的。The political thought of David Hume is the conclusion of the observation and reflection after British revolution who emphasized on that the elected political leader might not always be more qualified than the monarch, and that social reform should be based on respecting the tradition and social customs, that political parties should keep constant communication and that authority and freedom should be considered when obeying or fighting against the government. And the political doctrines by Hume have broad and far-reaching influence on the coming generations.
