摘　　要：文章叙述了包钢长材厂棒材作业区加热区域从加热方坯到可以加热圆坯所做的设备系统改造。加热圆坯的加热炉一般为环形炉或者是步进梁为锯齿形的加热炉,而长材厂棒材作业区的加热炉是加热方坯的加热炉,步进梁的形式为直条形。通过加热区域的一系列设备改造,使用很小的投入就成功地将Φ180 mm圆坯生产纳入长材厂棒材作业区加热炉正常生产工艺流程。In the paper,the equipment and system transformation in heating area for operation area of bars in Long Products Plant of Baotou Steel is elaborated,which is changed from heating furnace for square billets to that for round billets. The heating furnace for round billets is generally circular rotating furnace or heating furnace with jagged walking beam,but the heating furnace with straight walking beam in operation area of bars in Long Products Plant is for square billets. With a series of equipment transformation in heating area,the production of Φ180 mm round billets is successfully brought into the process flow of normal productions with very few investments.
