摘　　要：夏书章的名字与中国行政管理学紧密相联。作为新中国行政管理学的开拓者和奠基人,夏书章力主倡导中国行政管理学的恢复与重建,在学科体系、师资队伍、专业教育等方面进行了不懈的努力。尤其行政管理学研究方面,以创建中国特色的社会主义行政学为主题,以构建系统的行政学研究体系为核心内容,以马克思主义所要求的理论联系实际为主要研究方法,建构当代中国行政管理学科体系,并取得了公认的成就。The name of Xia Shuzhang is closely related with China administration science. As a pioneer and founder of public administration science of new China, Xia Shuzhang strongly advocated the restoration and reconstruction of China administration science and has made unremitting efforts in the building of the disciplinary system and the teaching staff and in the professional education. In the study of public administration science, he has made established achievements in constructing the disciplinary system of China administration by establishing as the theme the socialist administration with Chinese characteristics, by constructing as the core content the systematic administration research system, by taking as the major research approach the theory combined with practice as required by Marxism.
