摘  要:"世界需要通过文学观察中国,中国也需要通过文字来展示自己的真实形象",伴随着中国作家莫言问鼎诺贝尔文学奖的步伐,"世界阅读中国的时代"已然到来。然而,在"世界阅读中国"的迫切诉求之下,中国当代文学走向世界的进程却步履维艰。这其中,翻译所扮演的角色同样耐人寻味。基于此,拟以当代作家刘震云的小说《一地鸡毛》的英译过程为考察对象,探讨"中国形象"的书写以及中国文学"走出去"语境下中国当代文学译介的诸多问题,提出"零度翻译"的概念,同时关照译者模式选择的相关议题。"The world needs to observe China through literature, and China needs to show her real image through literature as well". With Mo Yan, a Chinese writer, winning the Nobel Prize in Literature, " the era of reading Chinese literature" has been coming yet. However, under the urgent demands of "reading Chinese literature", how to translate and disseminate contemporary Chinese literature efficiently has become a crucial issue. Considering such a problem, the paper has proposed to take Ground Covered with Chicken Feathers , a novel written by Liu Zhenyun, as a case study. On exploring the English translation course of this novel, the paper is to clarify the involved problems through the writing of "Chinese Image" and the translation of contemporary Chinese literature. Afterwards, it tries to put forward the concept of " zero translation", and discuss some related issues on the translator.
