摘　　要：The study of language and gender is a big issue that the linguists always pay attention to.Especially,more attention should be given to the gender difference and gender discrimination in some special language.Proverbs are the fixed sentences which are transmitted by mouths.They can reflect the true life and profound principles by simple words.The very wide origin of proverbs makes them have the strong representativeness and be easy to pronounce.Linguistic sexism phenomena in proverbs can raise people’s consciousness of gender difference and discrimination so as to reduce and even eliminate the phenomenon of gender discrimination in our speech and daily life and regulate the language.The study of language and gender is a big issue that the linguists always pay attention to.
