摘　　要：本文讨论了一次英语写作实证研究的结果,发现句子生成能力对EFL学习者的写作能力起着关键的制约作用,指出应以提高学习者句子生成能力为突破口来提高其写作能力。In this paper, the author discussed the results of an experimental research and found that sentence construction played a decisive role in EFL learners＇ writing ability. It was pointed out that importance should be attached to learners＇ sentence construction to help improve their EFL writing ability.
