摘　　要：殡仪馆建筑和景观建筑命名涉及到项目的设计理念,地域文化背景,以及建筑中蕴含着的中国传统文化等。大多隐含有"事死如事生""生,事之以礼,死,葬之以礼,祭之以礼""慎终,追远,民德归厚矣"等传统理念。追溯故人的以德为先,崇尚人来于自然,归于天地。因此在建筑命名时既取精神层面又兼顾自然之物,符合返璞归真"天人合一"的哲学思想。Xi＇an Second Funeral Home was completed and put into use on December 26, 2010, but the central building of the mourning hall with the surrounding landscape buildings remain unnamed because there are no ideal names in the collection. According to the designer of this project, it is advisable to take in priority the designing concept, the local culture and the Chinese traditional culture reflected in the architecture. There are old sayings from the ancient great Chinese thinkers： ＂They served the dead as they would have served them alive.＂ or ＂ Parents, when alive, should be served according to propriety, when dead, they should be buried according to propriety and they should be sacrificed to according to propriety.＂ or ＂ Let there be a careful attention to perform the funeral rites to parents, and let them be followed when long gone with the ceremonies of sacrifice-- then the virtue of the people will resume its proper excellence＂. All of these just reflect the idea that ＂virtue＂ is the root, foundation and the soul of Chinese nation. People coming from the nature will go back to the nature, so when naming the architecture, it is necessary for us to combine its spiritual meaning with the natural thing, rendering the name with the philosophy of returning to its original simplicity and achieving the ＂unification of nature and man＂.
