摘　　要：本文从水族马尾绣的由来、技艺特点、民俗文化入手,运用归纳、整理的方法对马尾绣在水族宗族社会中的传统功能及其价值进行分析。马尾绣传统功能决定其原始价值以及马尾绣蕴涵的民俗文化实质是水族妇女祈福纳祥,顺应自然,安身立命的思维意识与精神情感的集中体现。时代的发展使马尾绣功能与价值都发生了根本性的变化。如何有效保护、合理开发、充分利用,拯救这一濒临失传的非物质文化艺术遗产是值得高度重视的社会问题。This paper analyzes the traditional functions and values of horsetail embroidery in kinship society of Shui nationality by inducing and sorting its origin, technical features and folk culture. The traditional functions of horsetail embroidery determine its primitive values and folk culture displaying women＇ s prayer for bliss and their spiritual and mental aspirations, such as, conforming to the nature and living in peace. The development of times brings a fundamental change in the value and function of horsetail embroidery. And it is of great importance to preserve this intangible cultural heritage effectively, develop it appropriately, and save it form the extinction.
