摘　　要：高频功能副词"也"的研究自上世纪80年代以来,语义类型方面的讨论空间扩大,形成百家争鸣的局面;句法功能上出现了词平面、句平面、语篇平面的多角度研究态势;历史演变的年代、来源、语法化进程的探讨取得重大进展;认知上凸显出句法结构背后的深层思维范式的剖析;语言对比上既有汉内比较也有汉外比较。诸方面成绩突出,但也存在3方面的不足:系统性不强;经验推论多,科学考察少;综合运用多种方法缺乏整体效应。Since the early eighties of last century, the high - frequency adverb ＂也＂ has been increasingly discussed and researched, with a great number of arguments coming up due to the widening space of discussion against this word. In terms of syntactic functions, a multi - angle study was achieved from different viewpoints of words, sentences and whole passages. The research on the historical evolution of the adverb ＂也＂ has made a significant progress. An in -depth analysis on the thinking paradigm behind the syntactic structure was also conducted. The language comparison includes both the Chinese language itself and the foreign languages as well. In spite of.all those prominent achievements, there are 3 shortcomings in researches of this kind, namely, lack of systematization, too many inferences based on experiences and lack of scientific investigation, and lack of group effect while using multiple research methods.
