摘　　要：本文介绍了20世纪七十年代中美两国在图书馆事业上交流的基本情况,在分析美国图书馆事业管理思想和实践对我国图书馆事业、图书馆学研究及专业教育具体影响的基础上,较为全面地评价了这一时期的交流对我国图书馆事业发展的影响。The paper introduces the basic situation on the librarianship exchanging between China and USA in the 1970s, on the basis of analyzing A- merican library management ideas and practices which influence Chinese librafianship, library science studying and professional education, the paper an- alyzes and evaluates the influence of the exchanging to present Chinese librafianship in that era.
