Impact of residents' professional differentiation on recreation demands in urban community park was analyzed, and it has great significance to enhance community park recreation function. Three community park in Shanghai was chosen as the research objects, by the way of questionnaires, in order to investigate residents' recreational preferences and needs in community parks. According to Hollander's "Personality Interest Occupation Classification", occupations of residents playing in community park were divided into seven different categories, and the chi-square test and the corresponding analysis methods were used to reveal the occupation differentiation effect on their recreation preferences & requirements, and differentiation characteristics, and structure the humanized optimized strategies of urban community park. The results show that there is significant differences among different occupations in three community parks on recreational residents' occupations, as well as demands, preferences and satisfaction. Simultaneously, the impact of occupation differentiation on recreation preference is much more obvious than the recreation demands and satisfaction.
