摘　　要：梳理了西方学者认识中国建筑的历程,将整个过程划分为兴趣萌芽、初步探索、考察巅峰3个不同阶段。通过对各个时期主要成果的解读,揭示出西方研究从最初的误解和偏见逐渐趋于客观这一规律。在此基础上,与中国本土学者进行对比,指出了西方学者研究的4个特点。This paper reviews the process of Western scholarly acquaintance with Chinese architecture, divided into three phases： germination, exploration and maturation, By analyzing the main accomplishments of each phase, it explores the trajectory in which Western research shifted from misunderstanding and prejudice to objectivity, revealing four characteristics of Western scholarship in comparison to the Chinese counterpart~
