摘　　要：第二十届中国民居学术会议于2014年7月中旬在内蒙古自治区呼和浩特市隆重召开。会议就"民居建筑文化研究"、"传统民居建筑技艺及其现代应用研究"、"传统聚落的保护与活化研究"等主题展开研讨,同期宣布新一届学术委员会成立,公布新当选的中国民居建筑大师人选。会议集中展示了目前中国民居学术研究的最新成果,反映了民居研究的新动向。具体表现为:民居研究内容及方法深化拓展,民居研究对象的时空范围拓展,村落与民居保护更加务实创新。aBsTRacT The 20th Chinese Academic Conference on Vernacular Architecture was held in Hohhot, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in mid-July 2014. The topics in discussion included deepening the research on the culture of vernacular architecture, exploring the architectural techniques of vernacular architecture and their modern applications, as well as the protection and revitalization of the traditional settlements. In the meantime, the conference had announced a new academic committee, and the newly-nominated Chinese Vernacular Architecture Masters. The conference exhibited the latest research achievements on Chinese vernacular architecture, and reflected the research new trend, including deepening the research contents and methods of Chinese vernacular architecture, expanding the space and time scope of the study objects, as wel as protecting vernacular architecture and vil age with practical innovation.
