摘　　要：广雅书院由清末两广总督张之洞所创办,其规模宏大,是中国古代书院的杰出代表。在广雅书院的创建中,张之洞综合选址、布局及园事等空间策略,在营造礼乐相承空间格局和自然朴素的士人园林风格的同时,实现了喻物抒怀的意境追求。在西方空间殖民主义盛行的1880年代,广雅书院展现了帝国晚期士大夫阶层的文化姿态。aBsTRacT Guangya Academy （or The Viceroy＇ s Col ege） was founded by Zhang Zhidong, the Viceroy of Guangdong and Guangxi provinces. It was an outstanding representative of the Chinese ancient Academy with grand scale. In the design and building of Guangya Academy, Zhang Zhidong careful y considered its location, layout and gardening, to create the natural pattern of a traditional Chinese col ege. It also realized the meaning of lyrical emotionalism.
