摘　　要：2013年是英格兰历史遗产保护体系建立100周年纪念。回顾了英格兰历史遗产保护体系在过去100多年中的源起和演变,以及法律法规的逐渐成熟,介绍了目前历史遗产保护法规及政策体系,政府和非政府保护机构,归纳了主要历史遗产保护类别及运行机制。总的来看,英格兰历史遗产保护体系框架以立法为基础,由"英格兰遗产"全面负责,再由地方政府具体实行保护和控制;但该体系过于复杂,有所不足。2013 is the centenary of a landmark moment for England＇s heritage conservation system. The article reviews the emerging of heritage conservation in England in the last century, and the development of legislation framework. It introduces the current heritage protection policy structure, governments and NGQs, and concludes the main heritage conservation category and operating mechanism. In brief, heritage conservation system in England is supported by sufficient legislation. ＇English Heritage＇ is in charge of heritage protection in practice, and local authorities control the affection on heritages through planning system, However, this system is much matured but maybe too complex.
