在华外资银行分层区位战略及影响因素研究--基于嵌套Logit模型的实证检验

摘　　要：本文将国际生产折中方式延伸至金融产业,同时纳入我国区域地理结构和外资银行个体异质性,从微观层面运用嵌套Logit模型定量分析东道地区独特区位优势因素对外资银行跨国经营区位战略的影响。根据1992-2012年81家外资银行跨越中国50个城市和5大地理区域建立的273家分支机构,研究发现,外资银行在我国选择东道城市时采用"区域-城市"分层战略,区域层面和城市层面对外资银行区位影响因素不尽相同,且外资银行母国经济发展程度和分支机构类型的个体异质性影响其在华区位战略。据此,我们提出应继续放松对外资银行的管制,完善监管制度,加强中西部地区的金融基础设施建设等建议。By extending Eclectic Paradigm to financial sector, this micro economic -based research innovative- ly takes into account region＇ s geographic structure in China and foreign bank＇ s heterogeneity, and investigates empirically the impacts on foreign banks＇ transnational operation strategies, brought about by specific location advantages of host geographic unit. Our sample consists of 273 affiliates owned by 81 foreign banks, investing in China during the period of 1992 - 2012 and locating in 50 cities across 5 regions. By using Nested Log＇it Model estimations, our results reveal that foreign banks adopt ＂Region - City＂ hierarchical location process, affected by different factors on both ＂Region＂ and ＂City＂ levels. Besides, the economic development of foreign bank ＇ s home country and its institutional type would also determine its location strategies. According to the resuits, several suggestions are given such as the further deregulation on foreign banks as well as enhancement of the financial infrastructure in the Middle and West Regions.
