摘　　要：埃里森不仅把作品的主题意蕴建立在黑人音乐的多重隐喻中,而且通过黑人音乐建构了独特的文化观,表达了多种族文化中民主的种族政治思想。埃里森通过对爵士乐和布鲁斯的论述表达的多种族文化民主理念有三点:"一个国家、一个民族"观念、个性加独立性模式及文化杂糅和对话方式。无论欧裔美国人还是非裔美国人或是其他任何种族,他们都是生活在美国这个大家庭中的美利坚民族;只有在保持个性和独立性的基础上,美国各种族才能奏出"和而不同"的集体和声最强音,不同文化的族群应该采用杂糅和对话方式实现文化民主。Ralph Ellison not only based his themes on the metaphorical expression of black music,but also constructed unique cultural perspectives and racial political thoughts through his music aesthetics. His multi-racial cultural democracy thoughts are expressed through an elaboration of the characteristics of Jazz and Blues: a 'one country,one nationality'perspective,an individuality and independence style as well as a culture hybridity and dialogue method. Namely,no matter what races they are,Americans are the American people living in the United States; the American people can play the harmonious tone collectively only if different races maintain their individuality and independence; racial groups of different cultural backgrounds should realize cultural democracy through culture hybridity and dialogue.
