摘　　要：论述了防水工程设计中多道设防的必要性,指出:多道设防并非现代人的创造,古代的瓦屋面、地下工程防水都是多道设防,现代的三毡四油也不是一道防水;防水工程多道设防不是无奈之举,也不是权宜之计,而是工程安全原则,应该坚持。The paper discusses the necessity of multiple waterproofing defences in the waterproofing design, and points out that it is not the creation of modem people and it was used in the ancient tile roof and underground waterproofing works, and three layers of asphalt paper plus four layers of asphalt is not a layer of waterproofing defence. It also indicates that the multiple fortification of waterproofing design is not a reluctant choice or expedient, but an engineering safety principle, and it should be adhered to.
