摘　　要：30多年来国内外关于毛泽东和毛泽东思想评价的争论,主要集中在关于毛泽东一生功过的评价、关于毛泽东思想与中国特色社会主义理论的关系以及关于"文化大革命"和对毛泽东晚年错误的认识三个方面。习近平总书记2013年在毛泽东诞辰120周年纪念会上的讲话,着重从认识论和方法论上作了回答,堪称中国共产党全面科学正确评论毛泽东和毛泽东思想的新推进。In more than 30 years, the argument about how to evaluate Mao Zedong and Mao Zedong thought mainly focused on the fol- lowing three aspects, Mao＇ s merits and faults throughout his life, the relationship between Mao Zedong thought and the theoretical sys- tem of the Chinese Characteristic Soc, ialism, the understanding of ＂cultural revolution＂ and Mao＇ s mistake in his older age. President Xi Jinping＇ s speech, which delivered on Mao＇s 120th anniversary memorial, answered above mentioned arguments from epistemology and methodology. It reflected that the Communist Party of China gained the new improvement about the understanding of Mao Zedong and Mao Zedong thought.
