摘　　要：Veteran filmmaker Sylvia Chang, from China＇s Taiwan, is making a comeback, after a seven-year hiatus, with Murmur of the Hearts. The film focuses on intergenerational relationships. Run Papa Run （2008）, a comedy about fatherhood, was the last film Chang had directed before she took time ot＂t＂. Jen （Lee Sinje） leaves her unhappy marriage and moves with her daughter, Yu-mei, from Green Island to Taipei. Yu-nan, her son, is left with his father.
