摘  要:星占和选择术是中国传统历法的重要组成部分,明清之际的来华传教士出于文化优越感,指认其为迷信而加以拒斥。梅文鼎受西学影响,对星占和选择术抱有排斥和批判的态度,反映出他的无神论思想。梅文鼎提出星占之术是来自古代历法不精密,以及历法之理未获普及之故;选择宜忌等术数,也是术士牵强附会,制造各种惑世诬民的言论。他的无神论思想对其孙梅珏成产生很大的影响。Astrology and selection technique are important parts of the traditional Chinese calendar. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, the missionaries identified them as superstition to be rejected out of their cultural sense of superiority. Influenced by the Western learning, Mei Wending appeared an atheist, opposing and criticizing the two supposed pieces of superstition. He thought that astrology arose because the ancient calendar was not precise, and the science of calendar was not popularized. Divination was also the warlock's far-fetched interpretation to mislead people. His atheism exerted great influence on his grandson Mei Yucheng.
