摘　　要：钱伟长是著名的科学家、教育家、社会活动家,美国火箭导弹航天元勋之一。其亲身经历无可辩驳地证明了:数理化学得透彻,是实践"文理汇通,理工结合"的通途;科学要与技术相结合,科学必须通过技术经验的"透彻"研究,才能表现为第一生产力。Qian Weichang is a famous scientist, educationist and social activist, one of the fathers of Ameri- can aerospace rocket missiles. His experiences have indisputably proved that the thorough understand- ing of mathematics, physics, and chemistry could achieve ＂the coherence between the Arts and Sci- ences as well as the combination of the Sciences and Engineering＂. Science and technology should be combined. Only when science has been thoroughly studied by technological experience could it show the feature of No. 1 productive force.
