裘德与高加林的入城之旅比较

摘　　要：托马斯·哈代与路遥都是出身农村后进入城市取得成就的作家,分别塑造了由乡村进入城市或城镇追寻梦想最终失败的青年——裘德·福洛与高加林。文章分别比较了哈代与路遥的"城"与"乡"以及裘德与高加林入城的原因、途径、经历与结局,以及他们对爱情与婚姻的抉择,认为裘德与高加林的入城之旅不仅是创建家园的隐喻,而且是试图冲破社会对个人身份(地位)的束缚,追求个人身体自由与精神自由的历程。Thomas and created an image Hardy and Lu Yao both came from the country and became successful writers in big cities, of a young man from the country who failed in his journey to the city or town. This paper compared not only Hardy＇s and Lu Yao＇s city and country, but also Jude＇s and Gao Jialin＇s journey in four ways and their choice of love and marriage, and then concluded that their journey was both a metaphor of creating a home and a process of trying to break away from the constraint of identity in pursuit of individual freedom in body and spirit.
