摘　　要：随着改革开放的不断深入,我国高等教育取得了飞速发展,高校办学拥有了更多的自主权,但与此同时,也使高等教育的发展充满了各种风险,特别对于地方高校而言,常因财政拨款有限、地理位置欠佳、科研局限性大、社会影响力小等因素使得办学风险进一步突显,这既有高校自身的原因,也有外部无法控制的大环境的原因。为了防范和化解高校办学风险,地方高校管理者应在办学过程中牢固树立风险管理理念,强化风险防范意识,进行全面的风险管理,以保证地方高校健康可持续发展。With the deepening of the reform and opening up,China＇s higher education has achieved rapid development, and universities have more autonomy. But at the same time, the development of higher educa- tion is full of risks. Local universities, in particular, often face the limited funding, poor geographical loca- tion, research limitations, and little social influence which make the managerial risk more serious, Such risks come from both the universities themselves and the external uncontrollable circumstances. In order to guard against and reduce the risks of higher education,managers of local universities should firmly establish the concept of risk management in the process of running the universities,and strengthen the awareness of risk prevention so as to conduct a comprehensive risk management and ensure the healthy and sustainable de- velopment in local universities.
