摘　　要：美国西北大学图书馆在变革组织机构的基础上通过用户参与式设计变革其空间及服务,其参与式设计囊括了学生、教职员工、馆员三类设计主体,形成了学生、教职员工参与设计的强大组织保障,并积极利用院校设计专业优势推进用户参与设计的实践,对国内图书馆服务设计的开展有着深刻的启迪意义。America Northwestern University library implement participatory design to innovate its space and service after its organizational innovation, its participatory design involves students, faculties and librarians, which guarantee the execution of participatory design. During the process, it also takes the advantage of design professional school＇s design thinking and communication course, the project also gives some inspiration for domestic libraries in service design.
