摘　　要：湘西文化是发生在湘西土家族苗族自治州这一特定区域的民族文化。湘西文化的发展与进步,表现出了积极反思与主动建构相结合的语言文化自觉,地域特色与现代文明相融合的行为文化自觉以及古朴自然与现代时尚相统一的娱乐文化自觉。湘西文化的文化自觉路径:一是主体自省,二是大胆创新,三是客观扶持。The Western Hunan culture is a minority culture which originated the Miao Minority autonomous prefecture of Western Hunan. Its developments and from the Tujia Minority and improvements show the self consciousness of positive thinking and taking action actively in language, local culture combined with mod- em culture in behavior, and the simple nature combined with modem fashion in entertainment. The ways of its developments are self- examination , bold creativity, and objective support.
