摘　　要：介绍了某公司UOE焊管预弯边机及其模具特点,阐述了该预弯边模具的服役状态、模具材料的质量要求和模具的制造难点。通过分析德国锻造合金模具的化学成分、表面硬度、几何尺寸,采用铸造工艺研发出可替代进口的新型高铬合金模具钢及预弯边模具。检验结果表明:该新模具的表面硬度、抗拉强度、冲击韧性与进口模具没有明显区别;经批量生产试验后,该新模具未出现明显质量缺陷,产品可替代进口。Elaborated in the paper are the characteristics of the UOE crimping press and dies thereof as used by a certain company. And the main aspects concerning the said dies are detailed, including service status, quality requirements for the material, and manufacture-related difficulties. The new type high-Cr alloy die-purpose steel, and corresponding casting process for manufacturing the dies which meet the requirements for the crimping process have been developed based on an analysis of the characteristics of the imported Germany-made dies which involves chemical composition, surface hardness and geometric size, etc. The results from inspections of the new die show that there is little difference between it and the above mentioned Germany-made die in terms of surface hardness, tensile strength and impact toughness. After the trial lot production of the newly-developed crimping die, no remarkable quality defect is found with the product, which means it is worth substituting the imported similar product.
