摘 要:采用复合金属收集极设计的真空康普顿探测器,使伽马探测灵敏度有效提高。为表征探测器测量信号的质量和可靠性,需要对探测器的γ/n鉴别本领进行评估。应用强钴源(能量1.25 Me V)伽马和DT(能量14 Me V)中子源对这种探测效率增强的新型真空探测器灵敏度进行实验测量,采用蒙特卡罗模拟法(MC)模拟统计收集极输出净电子数的方法,对其在裂变能量区几个特征能量点的伽马、中子灵敏度进行模拟计算。结果表明:对于中子、伽马能量为1.25 Me V的情况,这种新型真空康普顿探测器的γ/n鉴别本领,理论模拟计算值为40.94,综合理论计算和实验测量结果的实验推算评估值为28.31;属于适合中子、伽马混合场中测量伽马的可选探测器。Adopting a complex metallic electron collector will increase the value of γ sensitivity of the vacuum Compton's detector. It is necessary to evaluate the γ/n discriminating ability of a γ detector in order to describe the quality and dependability of the measured signal. In this work, the sensitivities of this new kind of efficiency-increased vacuum Compton's detector were measured under 60Co γ source (1.25 MeV) and DT neutron source (14MeV), and these γ and neutron sensitivities were also calculated by counting the electrons put out by the electron collector with the method of MC simulation. It is shown in the results that when the energy of γ and the energy of neutron are both 1.25 MeV, the theoretical value of theγ/n discriminating ability of this new detector is 40.94, and the experimental value is predicted to be 28.31 after integrating the theoretical calculation with the laboratory experiments.
