Feasibility study on converting volcanic gas reservoir with edge-bottom water into underground gas storage-A case study from Block D in Xushen Gas Field

摘  要:含边底水火山岩气藏改建地下储气库在国内目前还没有先例。为此,以松辽盆地徐深气田D区块边底水火山岩气藏为例,从气藏构造特征、盖层和断层密封性、储层物性、流体性质、水体规模、气井产能、储层连通性等方面探讨了建库的可行性。结果表明:①该区块盖层厚度大,分布稳定且岩性致密,多数断层活动相对较弱,不会对盖层密封性造成破坏,气藏原始气水界面分布比较接近,距离圈闭溢出点比较远,具有良好的圈闭密封性;②该区块气层单一,厚度较大,物性相对较好,总水体规模虽然较大,但有效水体规模适中;③该区块气井均具有一定产气能力和稳产能力,储层连通性整体较好,目前出水井主要位于气藏边部构造较低部位,气藏内部区域尚未发生严重水侵。结论认为,该区块具备改建地下储气库的可行性,但仍需要考虑和重视边底水水侵对地下储气库库容的影响这一不利因素。So far, no underground gas storage (UGS) has ever been built from a volcanic gas reservoir with bottom and edge water in China. Therefore, this paper takes the volcanic gas reservoir with bottom and edge water in Block D of Xusben Gas Field as an exam- ple to discuss the feasibility of converting it into a UGS in terms of its structural characteristics, caprock and fault characteristics, reservoir features, fluid properties, aquifer size, well deliverability and reservoir connectivity. Three conclusions are reached. Firstly, this block is characterized by thick caprocks, stable distribution and tight lithology. Most faults are weaker in activity, so the sealing capacity of caprocks isn't destroyed. Original gas-water contacts of the gas reservoirs are closely distributed and they are far from the spill point of the trap. Therefore, this block has good trap sealing capacity. Secondly, the gas reservoirs in this block are simple and thick, with better physical properties. The gross size of the aquifer is larger, but the effective one is moderate. Thirdly, the gas wells in this block present some gas deliverability and stable producing capacity. The reservoirs, on the whole, are better in produc tivity and connectivity. At present, water--producing wells are mostly located at the lower positions of the side structures in the gas reservoirs, so no serious gas invasion has occurred inside. Therefore it is feasible to build UGS in Block D, but the negative effect of edge--bottom water invasion on storage capacity should be considered.
