摘　　要：现代网络信息时代,公共图书馆承担着广泛的社会职能。办公室作为公共图书馆的重要职能部门,具有参谋、服务、协调等多重作用。办公室工作人员既是馆长决策的辅助者,又是决策的主要承办者和执行者。文章另辟蹊径,运用团体思维理论探讨如何在新形势下优化办公室的参谋辅助、决策支撑职能,为馆长决策提供更可靠、更全面的参考,以使馆长的决策更具科学性及实践性,更好地发挥公共图书馆的社会职能。Public libraries undertakes a wide range of social functions in modern information age. As an important functioning department, public library office plays multiple roles such as decision-supporting, service-providing and coordinating. Office staffs support curator to make decisions, and they are also main executors of curator＇s decisions. With the application of the group thinking theory in sociology, this dissertation tries to explore how to optimize the decision-supporting function of public library office under new situations. By functional optimization the office can be more helpful to curator＇s scientific decision-making and also widen the social functions of public libraries.
