摘　　要：域外华裔学者所著的这本《犯罪学知识手册》,建构了"犯罪学/刑事司法的知识架构、调查方法(Methods of inquiry)趋一性、大中华(Greater China):台湾、香港与澳门犯罪学"的知识结构体系,形成了隐含式、特色式融合中西的知识体血脉。这本以美式犯罪学范式所建构的、集大成的关于中国的犯罪学开拓之作,代表一代犯罪学者共同努力推进中国犯罪学的科学发展的集体智慧结晶,寄予了对未来的殷切期望与为之奋斗的方向。The Routledge Handbook of Chinese Criminology written by an overseas Chinese researcher, constructs knowledge constitution of criminology and criminal justice, convergence of methods of inquiry and Greater China ： the knowledge constitution system of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao has formed a characteristic and hidden knowledge system combining the East and the West. As a pioneering work of Chinese criminology based on American mode of criminology, this book stands for the earnest expectation and struggling direction in the future, pooled by collective wisdom of one generation of criminology researchers who are dedicated to pushing scientific development of criminology in China.
